The Legendary Buffalo Chip and Deadwood are teaming up to present the first annual Legends Ride, Thursday, August 7th, 2008 during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The ride will benefit Kids and Chrome Foundation, which in turn benefits the Children’s Home Society and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum.

“The Chip has always had a great legacy of supporting worthwhile charities,” said Buffalo Chip owner Rod Woodruff. “With stars from film, television, music, motorcycling and premium cigars, this year’s Legends Ride should be a thrill of Sturgis Rally goers.”

Riders will begin the 50-mile ride after enjoying a variety of entertainment and activities at the Silverado-Franklin Gaming Complex and the Deadwood Tobacco Company and precede though Vanocker Canyon and Sturgis to the Legendary Buffalo Chip.

Participants will receive a souvenir gift pack which includes an event t-shirt and other sponsor items, plus food, drinks and admission to a VIP party and concert featuring country stars Sugarland and rock and roll hall of famers ZZ Top at the Legendary Buffalo Chip. Tickets may be purchased for $150 online at www.legendsride.com or for $200 the day of the event. All proceeds go to the Kids and Chrome Foundation and the entire price of participation is tax deductable.
