Free Parking on Main Street for Legends Ride Participants: 11am to 2:30pm:
Location: In front of Silverado-Franklin Historic Hotel and Gaming Complex – Deadwood, South Dakota.
The 2008 Legends Ride kicks off in the town of historic Deadwood as Legends Ride
Participants will ride to the top of Main Street where the street will closed off between
Shine and Pine streets for participants to park front-and-center and enjoys the days
festivities.
Important: Participants will need to have picture ID available in order to gain access into
the parking area on Main Street.
Registration: 11am to 2:30pm:
Location: The Silverado-Franklin Historic Hotel and Gaming Complex – Deadwood,
South Dakota.
Once participants arrive in Deadwood they will be directed to the Silverado-Franklin to
check in and register for the ride. Participants who are pre-registered will sign and pick
up their VIP wristbands, souvenir gift pack as well be briefed on the days schedule of
entertainment and events. Participants may also register at the Silverado-Franklin the
day of the event.
Important: Participants who pre-register must bring online confirmation and picture ID to
register.
Celebrity Meet & Greet Reception: 1pm to 3pm:
Location: Deadwood Tobacco Company – Deadwood, South Dakota:
The Deadwood Tobacco Company will host the celebrity meet & greet reception for the
Legends Ride from 1pm to 3pm. Participants will be invited to meet, get autographs and
photos with participating Legends Ride celebrities and master builders. The Deadwood
Tobacco Company will also have the world’s top cigar tobacconists including Christian
Eiroa from Camacho Cigar Company to meet and enjoy the world of premium cigars.
Master Builders Street Display: 11am to 3pm:
Location: The Silverado-Franklin & The Deadwood Tobacco Company - Deadwood,
South Dakota:
Deadwood’s historic Main Street will be transformed into a virtual, world-class bike show as participating Legends Ride master builders will be displaying their incredible, one off custom creations in front of the Silverado-Franklin and Deadwood Tobacco from 11am to 3pm. If you haven’t had a chance to meet these master builders and see their one-of-a-kind custom bikes you are in for a treat!
Scenic Ride Through the “Hills of Dakota:” 3:30pm to 5pm:
Location: 50-mile route through Deadwood on Highway 385 to the Legendary Buffalo Chip:
Join Legends Ride celebrities and master builders on a beautiful 50-mile ride through the “Hills of Dakota” on the way to the Legendary Buffalo Chip. As one of the Sturgis Rally’s most popular ride routes, Legends Ride participants will be lead through the City of Deadwood on the beautiful stretch of asphalt known as Highway 385 through the sleepy, hills town of Nemo and the spectacular twists and turns of Vanocker Canyon through Sturgis and ending up at the Legendary Buffalo Chip for an exclusive VIP party and concert. An Exclusive VIP and Pre-Concert Party at the Legendary Buffalo Chip: 5:30pm to 7:30pm:
Location: Legendary Buffalo Chip – Sturgis, South Dakota:
Upon arrival to the Legendary Buffalo Chip, Legends Ride participants will be lead on a
parade lap around the Buffalo Chip’s legendary concert amphitheatre and parked in a
special VIP parking section of The Chip’s Softail Lounge. Participants will be treated to
an exclusive VIP and Pre-Concert Party with complimentary drinks and heavy hors
d’oeuvres while enjoying, live music and a festive atmosphere with Legends Ride
celebrities, master builders, VIP’s and members of the national media.
Headlining Concert with Country Superstars, Sugarland and Rock N Roll Hall of
Famers ZZ Top! 8:30pm to Midnight:
Location: Legendary Buffalo Chip – Sturgis, South Dakota:
The 2008 Legends Ride concludes with the top two acts to see for the
Sturgis Rally. Participants will party like rock stars at The Chip’s legendary
concert amphitheatre as country superstars Sugarland and Rock N Roll Hall of Famers ZZ
Top take to the stage for a night of incredible music under the beautiful stars in Sturgis.
